Who We Are
Welcome to the TWC family where we believe that God can restore anything. If you're not dead, God's not done! We are excited for you to be part of our team.
At TWC, we strive to create an atmosphere that honors God and builds up people. When Pastors Todd and Trish's started The Worship Center in 1997, their heart was to create a church that unchurched people wanted to attend. Because of this, we have many raw and wounded people who are drawn here. In order to serve our TWC family and the Kingdom of God in excellence, we are intentional with the discipleship of the staff so we are in unity and ready for the task at hand. We invite all of our team members to personally apply and walk out TWC's values in their daily lives.
As TWC grows and we welcome new team members, we commit to helping them grow in their personal lives and uphold TWC's vision and values. We know where there is unity, God commands a blessing; (Psalm 133) so we are intentional at guarding the unity of our staff. We expect that when someone's values are different from our own, they will accept, adopt and reflect TWC's values as they join our team. Our goal is not to control people, but protect the God-given purpose of The Worship Center. Our values must be consistent and steady at every campus or our organizational impact will decrease.

MISSION & VISION
Mission
To love people where they are, for who they are, to where they've always belonged.
Vision
To restore people back to their original, God-given design.

CORE VALUES
TWC emphasizes core values that create the culture that we want every team member to uphold.
Our core values have been established over two decades of ministry and they remain steadfast. Adding to or changing our values is a complex process that begins with our lead pastor and requires confirmation from our board members. We recognize that not every person or family that comes to TWC will share the same values, and we respect that wholeheartedly. However, those differences will not influence a change in our organization, culture or values. We defend and protect the culture of TWC and expect all of our team members to do the same in both their personal and corporate lives.
Our Core Values come out of Acts 2:42-47.

"All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved."

SERVE
Saved People Serve People
Acts 2:44
At TWC, we believe there is no great divide between the “ministers” and the “congregation.” Everyone has something to impact the lives of others. Every member of TWC is a critical and vital part of the Kingdom of God.

Growing People Change
Acts 2:42
At the core, TWC is a house of restoration. As Pastor Todd often says, “If you’re not dead, God’s not done!” Watching people come to TWC with broken hearts and walk into wholeness is what we live for.

COMMUNITY
Don't Do Life Alone
Acts 2:46
We believe life change happens in the context of relationships. God created us to live in community with others, and it is only then that we can experience the full life He intends for us.

GENEROSITY
You Can't Out-give God
Acts 2:44-47
Regardless if you give God your time, talent, or treasure, you cannot out-give Him! We want generosity to be a defining characteristic of TWC.

STAFF PILLARS
In addition to the Core Values listed above, we have Staff Pillars to strengthen our team and work ethic.

Luke 16:10
We want to be good stewards of everything God has given us: time, resources, gifts and relationships. Remember, God will not trust you with much until you are faithful with little.

Colossians 3:23
You don't have to be perfect to be excellent. Excellence is doing the best you can, where you're at, with what you have. "Excellence is the gap between the average and exceptional."

HONOR
1 Peter 2:17
From the top down, honor is a crucial part of our staff. Regardless if we are dealing with volunteers on our team, our congregants or peers, everything we do must be done with honor.

UNITY
Psalms 133:1-3
Wherever there is unity, God commands a blessing. We aren't perfect people, but we have grace for each other, ask for forgiveness when necessary and remember what PT always says, "love assumes the best."

SPIRITUAL
TWC is a prophetic house of restoration. We are unapologetically rooted in scripture and will not back down from it. At the same time, we invite everyone to the table of grace because we have all fallen short of the Glory of God. As PT often says, "I'm just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread." In addition, maintaining a heart of worship and genuine affection for the Lord, while not replacing the "work of the ministry" with time in His Presence is vital to our spiritual health and staff culture.

PROFESSIONAL
While we are obviously a ministry, there is a business side to our operations. As someone on staff, you will see "behind the curtain" to the structure that supports the ministry. We work hard to cultivate excellence, not perfectionism, to support the vision of the house. Our leadership standards are high, regardless of position. We value honesty, loyalty, servanthood and a teachable spirit from each of our staff members. Being above reproach in our conduct is imperative.

RELATIONAL
"Don't do life alone" is not only something we say, but what we live. We encourage our staff to show integrity by being humble, trustworthy and accountable to one another and the Lord. "Love assumes the best" is something you will hear regularly. We will never draw our "swords" on one another, but through humility and clear & kind communication, we will protect the unity of our team. Having fun with one another is also a priority because nothing deepens relationships like FUN!

- Being teachable and ready to learn on all leadership levels.
- Striving to outdo one another in honor.
- Resolving conflicts by refusing unforgiveness and practicing reconciliation.
- Listening to understand the other person better.
- Practicing honesty even when it's hard.
- Reproducing ourselves in others.
INTENTIONALLY EMPOWER RELATIONSHIPS BY:
- Viewing others through the lens of their original, God-given design and bringing the best out of each other.
- Giving and receiving honest feedback for the good of TWC.
- Protecting the unity of the staff over personal benefit.
- Serving in other team member's ministries before we ask them to serve in ours.
- Being accountable to operate in excellence.
- Taking the risk to dream big and have fun.
