Pastors Todd and Trish Turnbow: Serving in Ministry for Over 28 Years
In 1996, Pastor Todd heard the call to begin a church here in Lubbock. After receiving confirmation, he moved in obedience and planted TWC.
Experience the Transformation: The Worship Center is Born
On February 2, 1997, with 7 people in the living room of his parents, Gayland and Linda Turnbow, The Worship Center held its first service. One month later, TWC moved to a former Jehovah’s Witness building where over 60 people gathered for the first service. The Worship Center grew in ministry and community outreach with services for adults, youth and even a bus ministry. In 2001, our pastors had a dream to build their own building and purchased a portion of land in a cotton field outside of the Lubbock city limits. By 2003, TWC was up and running and has grown to where we are today, with our West Campus on 82nd & Upland, South Campus on 127th and Indiana, and Brownfield Campus 1202 Seagraves Rd, Brownfield, TX.
